Bella's Crazy Day!

Bella attends Northwood school this year for Preschool this year. Each classroom has a heart jar in their room and when their jar gets full, they take it to the office and fill the bigger heart jar. When that jar is full, they have a school celebration. Yesterday was a school celebration and they had CRAZY DAY! Being the fun spirited person I am, I went crazy with her outfit! Check out the pictures!

Bella turns 5!!!

I can't believe that my baby is 5! Where did the time go? It seems like just yesterday I was bringing this little bundle home from the hospital. I remember being the HAPPIEST person in the world at that moment and being such a proud mommy. I am so proud to be her mommy and she brings so much joy to my life each and every day! Here are some pictures from the big day! We had a party at Happy Joe's on her birthday with some of her friends and then a family party at the ISU/KS basketball game. Lots of fun had by all!

2009 Pictures

I can't believe that 2009 is over! It was a crazy year, and I hope that 2010 is better for my family! Here are a few pictures from 2009 that I thought everyone might like~

Ten things I learned in 2009
10. Life goes way too fast! Slow down and enjoy the little things!
9. Bella is sassy!
8. Family is the most important thing in the world!
7. My husband loves me-No matter how grumpy I am to him!
6. You know who your true friends are when it comes down to it.
5. Bella has grown up WAY too fast!
4. When you are having a bad day, listen to some four year old little girls having a conversation...will make you smile every time!
3. Babies are supposed to be held and loved!
2. Home renovations may end your marriage if you are not careful!
1. Running a home business is hard! Thank God I can learn from the mistakes I made the first year!

Ok, so most of this stuff I knew before 2009, but I had some good reminders of all of these things last year!

Bad Blogger

So, I have recently realized (ok, so not so recently) that I am a bad blogger. I need to update more! Things have really changed for our family the last few months. Ray is on his third job since January and I am on my new adventure of running my own in home childcare! It has been great being home with Bella and keeping busy all hours of the day. The children are such joys to have here and we really enjoy every aspect of it! I could not ask for better parents to work with. Bella is growing more and more every day. She is loving preschool and is sad that she will be done soon. She is taking dance lessons from The Robert Thomas Dancenter and I can't wait to see her performance on June 13th. She is "Peter Pan's Tinkerbell" as she calls it and she won't be hard to miss. She will be the little girl on stage always making sure she is on her sticker and a step behind the others. I am sure it will be a memory that I will never forget! Daddy is of course looking forward to the make-up, glitter, and everything that comes along with dance recitals! Here are a few pictures of what we have been working on, including our new toy room that was once a garage!

Continue to Pray...

As many people know, little Cora passed away on Sunday morning. The family continues to need your prayers to help them with this difficult time. Please remember them in your prayers...I can't imagine what they are going through right now.

Keep this family in your prayers!

So, My sister Kristen told me a story of a little girl who is only 11 months old and was diagnosed with Cancer. I read this little girl's story and I could not contain my emotions. I can't stop thinking about her and her family. Please follow the attached blog address and keep this little Cora in your thoughts and prayers.

December Fun

December is always a fun month. New snow, Christmas, family spending time together...Bella was a blast to do all of that with this year. She is getting such a personality and is growing up so fast. She is really exploring everything lately and is full of questions! Parents watch out, if you thought there were a lot of "what's that?" when your child first began to talk, wait until they are Bella's age. She has to know everything that is going on from why daddy's toots stink so bad to how Santa's raindeer fly! She is such a joy!
